There’s something about being on the road that brings me back to myself. In this post, I share a few moments from my recent travels – the people, places, and unexpected lessons that stayed with me.
Travel has a way of stripping life back to what really matters. It removes the noise, creates space, and reminds me to pay closer attention – to people, to places, and to the small moments that often make the biggest impact.
On this recent trip, I found myself in conversations with amazing people, each with their own story, their own version of what home means. It made me think about the power of connection and how much we can learn from simply listening.
There were also the unexpected moments – a detour that turned into a breathtaking view, a local recommendation that led to a new favorite place, and a reminder that sometimes the best parts of the journey aren’t planned.
I’m grateful for the road, for the people, and for the lessons that continue to shape my perspective, both as a writer and as a person.
